If You’re Still Complaining, You’re Already Losing

This post was last updated on

Look, I’m gonna keep it real.

You say you want things to change in this industry? You say you’re tired of AMCs, low fees, scope creep, and the dumpster fire we keep calling “the market”?

Then stop whining about it and start building something better.

You don’t need a damn pep talk.
 You need a tribe.

Not a circle of yes-men. Not a pity party. I’m talking about a crew of straight-shooters who:

  • Share tools and resources without acting like it’s top-secret intel
  • Trade strategies that actually move the needle
  • Hold each other accountable—even if it stings a little
  • And most of all? Push you to level up, even when you don’t feel like it.

Find people who want what you want: growth, independence, control of their business. Doesn’t matter where they live or how long they’ve been doing this. What matters is mindset. Hustle. Grit.

Because here’s the truth: If everyone in your circle is always agreeing with you? You’re not growing—you’re stagnating.

You need the people who will say,

“Yo, your process sucks. Fix it.”
“Your marketing’s lazy. Do better.”
“You’re playing small. Knock it off.”

That’s the kind of tribe that builds real momentum. Not a support group—a strategy squad.

So yeah—vent if you need to. But don’t stay there. Get off the bench, find your people, and do the damn work.

Because this industry isn’t going to fix itself.
And we’re running out of time to sit around complaining.
